November 19 - The Strength of Management & the Influence of Leadership Webinar - A thought-provoking presentation that has been enjoyed by the highest levels in organizations and embraced as adding value and contributing to leadership success. In any organization there are factors working together to influence and determine an individual’s leadership behavior. Understanding the  Leadership (people-focused) and Management (task-focused) patterns of behavior will lead to more productive and successful teams and results. 

December 2 - The Navigating Through Change Webinar addresses adapting to a constantly changing environment and solving problems in a dynamic, ambiguous and fast-moving workplace. Re-directing both energy and focus to minimize distractions and achieve optimal results is key to overcoming issues such as resistance to change, self-imposed barriers and adapting to the unexpected. 

December 17 - Where Danger Meets Opportunity Webinar - A CEO Case Study on Mitigating Crisis includes a major US company and the powerful influences and forces that impact organizations in crisis and transition. The presentation helps managers become more effective in their operating environment, by focusing on communication, risk-taking, planning, and problem-solving.

About the Speakers

Sherri K. Baldwin

Principal

Sherri Baldwin is the Principal of LeadAdvantage, Inc. Sherri uses a unique blend of business-relevant, engaging and high-energy approaches to create an environment where leaders are individually equipped to navigate successfully through their specific business challenges to achieve a desired objective. Sherri has worked closely with leading organizations such as The Carolinas Nuclear Cluster, Wal-Mart, ACE Hardware, United States Gypsum, and Carolinas Healthcare to strengthen behavior and promote effective organizational change.

Prior to LeadAdvantage, Sherri worked as VP of Coaching, Consulting and Programs in a leadership development firm and has 15 years of experience in sales & marketing management, primarily in the hospitality industry. Sherri earned a degree in Communications from Texas A&M University where she currently serves on the Leadership Council. She is a Distinguished Toastmaster and has served as the Area Governor for Toastmasters in Charlotte, NC. (Toastmasters is an international public speaking and leadership organization). Sherri is also an FAA certified pilot and is a published author.

Rick Vipperman

Senior Consultant

Rick Vipperman has over 30 years of leadership development experience including Founder and President of LeadFirst & Associates, a Charlotte, North Carolina based International firm that focused on executive level leadership. After selling his business in 2005 to pursue personal interests, Rick Vipperman reunited with LeadAdvantage in 2009 to continue his career-long pursuit of working with organizations to create and strengthen a more healthy and productive operating culture through the effective use of management and the influence of leadership.
